Q. Who will install and maintain the 3 DES Fix?

A. Most Third Party Maintenance (TPM) companies in the U.S. are authorized to sell, install and service the 3 DES Fix . If you don’t have a TPM or they are not familiar with our product, please click here for a complete listing of our Authorized TPMs or have your maintenance company contact us to arrange the necessary training.

Q. Is the 3 DES Fix certified by my network processor?

A. The 3 DES Fix has been through extensive testing and certification procedures on 95% of the US network processors. We are actively going through the same process internationally. For a complete list of certified processors, click here. If the network driving your ATMs is not listed, please contact us so that we can begin the process of obtaining the necessary approval.

Q. Is the 3 DES Fix certified by VISA and MasterCard?

A. Yes. The 3 DES Fix VISA certification number is 20050. It is also the only product which has been reviewed and accepted by MasterCard.

Q. If I experience technical difficulties, who should I call?

A. It is highly likely that your maintenance company is an Authorized Service Provider. They will be your first point of contact. Thanks to our unique logging capabilities, your ATM tech will be able to use the USB port on the control module together with a USB thumb drive to log communications all the way from the ATM to the network and the return communications. This allows us to assist you in pinpointing your issue even if the problem isn’t with the 3 DES Fix . We can isolate it to the ATM or the network and provide you with information that will help expedite your resolution. On the rare occasion that your maintenance company is not an Authorized Service Provider for the 3 DES Fix  please contact our help desk for further instructions.

Q. I know that my 3 DES Fix comes with a one year warranty on all parts. Since the life of my ATM has been extended by 3 to 5 years, how can I protect my 3 DES Fix for the remaining years?

Q. My network processor tells me I can save money on my monthly communications expenses if I run my ATMs over TCP/IP. How can I get my serial ATM to deliver TCP/IP to my network processor?

A. The 3 DES Fix comes with protocol conversion included at no additional cost to you. We give you the capability of connecting to your ATM through a serial communications cable while connecting to your router through a CAT 5 cable. We do the conversion inside the control module. This eliminates the need for costly circuits and POTS lines.

Q. Will this void my OEM Warranty?

A. No. Your OEM warranty expires 90 days after you purchase a new machine. Our hardware components are UL & FCC approved and are manufactured by the same company providing equipment to the OEM’S.
